Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast at 6:30, embark on your Gorilla Trekking & Chimpanzee Safari taking a road drive to Kibale Forest National Park as you enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape. Kibale Forest National Park is found in Fort Portal, a town at the south-western side of Uganda where you will enjoy views of tea plantation and banana plantations.
The park is 6-7 hours from Kampala thus you will enjoy an en-route lunch in Fort portal town
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi nature walk
After an early 6:30 Gorilla Trekking & Chimpanzee Safari breakfast, head over to Kibale Forest Headquoters and get a briefing on the day’s activity. A full day chimpanzee tracking; you will spend the whole day tracking the Chimpanzees. While tracking, you will be able to spot different animal species like the Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, Red-tailed Monkey, and L’Hoest’s Monkey among others and different bird species.
In afternoon visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk, Rich in biodiversity and beautiful scenery, the wetland is a birder’s paradise with about 138 species. Located outside the park in Magombe Swamp, it also hosts eight species of primates including the black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Later you can enjoy a walk to the “top of the world” along crater lakes which this area is also famous for crater lakes view and view of the mountain of the moon.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.
In the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth you may be able to catch a glimpse of the famous tree climbing lions.Since this is along drive lasting between 6-7 hours we will enjoy an en-route lunch and also stretch be able to stretch our legs. Arrive in the evening to Buhoma and overnight as you prepare for Gorilla Tracking.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest Jungle
After breakfast proceed to UWA visitor’s reception where briefing is done before tracking. It takes a few minutes but you leave with gorilla etiquette. Comfortable shoes and clothes are advised along with packed lunch and a walking stick. Walk and hike this steep and slippery terrain until you meet the family gorilla. Enjoy this one hour allowed in the company of the brilliant giants! Looking into the eyes of one of the magnificent creature brings home the distressing fact that they are on the edge of extinction, and that your presence contributes to ensuring their continual survival
Depending on the duration of the track you can either relax at the lodge or enjoy another walk around the village with the breath taking views of the virunga mountains.

Day 5: Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe
Enjoy an early breakfast and embark on your journey back to Entebbe through Western Uganda across the beautiful landscape of central Uganda, the rolling hills, cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest .
Stop-over en-route in Mbarara for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center to explore the life style of the Ankole and Bahima, thereafter proceed at the Equator to buy some souvenirs to take back home and proceed to Entebbe for your flight home.
