    Gorilla Permits

Gorilla trekking permits are issued by UWA at US $600 per person per trek. Without the gorilla permit, you’ll not be allowed to trek these gentle giants.

In this gorilla trekking safari package we acquire the permit on your behalf at no cost because we know that acquiring one can be so hectic to the foreigner especially during peak season.

    When to go gorilla trekking?

Although it’s regarded as a year-round activity, the best time to visit Uganda for gorilla trekking is during the country’s two dry seasons: January and February and from June to September. These are the typical peak seasons for Uganda Safaris.
