The 3 Day Lake Mburo Wildlife & Chimpanzee Safari is designed for travelers who enjoy wildlife and primates but have a minimum budget. Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest of Uganda’s Savannah national parks offering a variety of mosaic of habitats and landscapes: forests, rich acacia tree valleys, grass lands and seasonal and permanent swamps.
Lake Mburo National Park, a great opportunity to see several savannah wildlife such as the gigantic eland, topi, warthog, impala, zebras, leopards and several savannah bird species some of which include lapwings, hornbills, and cocqui francolin. You will also visit Kyambura gorge for a Chimpanzee trek.
While on your boat trip on Lake Mburo, you can see many hippos wallowing in the water and the large crocodiles lurking on the shores. Birds include cormorant, fish eagle, pelicans.The Park is situated in Mbarara district and is about 4hours drive from Entebbe. The park is also strategically located to cut the long trip on your way to Southwestern Uganda as you can stopover to reduce the fatigue.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will help you with your luggage and head out to western Uganda for your Wildlife & Chimpanzee Safari as you travel across the beautiful landscape of central Uganda made of rolling hills and cultivated terraces. Stop-over en-route in Mbarara for an en route lunch.
After checking in to the lodge, the visitors can also opt for an evening game drive in the park to admire the beautiful landscapes and in search of close encounters with the local fauna: bush bucks, bush duikers,

Day 2: Morning game drive and Boat cruise on L. Mburo
You will start the day with a sumptuous breakfast then go for a game drive in the open savannah. Lake Mburo National park is home to several savannah wildlife such as the gigantic eland, topi, warthog, impala, zebras, leopards and several savannah bird species some of which include lapwings, hornbills, and cocqui francolin. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo which boats of a diversity of animal and plant species and various bird species that are habitat on Lake Mburo

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura gorge and transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Kyambura Gorge for a primate walk expecting to see chimpanzees, vervet monkey, olive baboon and black & white Columbus monkey. You will then proceed back to Entebbe making a stop at the Equator in Masaka for snacks, photographs and souvenirs. You will arrive in Entebbe later that evening and then be transferred to Entebbe International Airport in time for you to check in and catch your flight out of Uganda.
